Internal Communications Lead

Hailing from Toronto, Canada, Sarah Livingston is a feminist, activist and strategic Internal Communications Lead at Oxfam America; an international NGO working in more than 90 countries to find lasting solutions to poverty, hunger and social injustice. With creativity and warmth, Sarah uses strategic internal communications to drive employee engagement, and empower staff in HQ and nine international offices with the information to do their jobs.  Sarah’s expertise includes:  strategy development, gender analysis, monitoring and evaluation, change management and team building.

Communications is her tool, and women’s rights are her heart.  When she’s not traveling the world–storytelling along the way–Sarah volunteers at Amirah, a North Shore based organization combating sex trafficking, and restoring women’s lives. In her spare time, Sarah enjoys photography, local food and vintage clothing.

Sarah holds a B.A. in political science from Gordon College, and a M.A. in sociology from Suffolk University, and is currently working on her MBA at the Simmons School of Management.
