Session Title: Building Your Company Into a Global Leader in a New Category
Category creation and ownership requires dedication and focus across all facets of your company. Led by One Door CEO E.Y. Snowden, this NewCo discussion will illustrate the process by focusing on how One Door (formerly RBM Technologies) is establishing a strong presence in the retail world, building their company as a global leader in the newly established category of merchandising execution.
Attendees will get an overview of what is involved in a holistic category creation campaign, from messaging and internal awareness to marketing programs and media adoption. A case study profiling a cornerstone of the campaign, the first ever state of merchandising execution survey, will be presented as well as an interactive merchandising execution game on an 70” touchscreen.

BikeBus will take 16 lucky participants indoor cycling around the streets of Boston, and you'll even be able to "Bike The Pike!" A patent-pending safety system now makes it possible to complete a workout while traveling. Come experience it firsthand.

Session Title: Hands-on Rapid Prototyping Workshop
Great designs don’t just happen: they are the results of iteration, revision and the application of perspective. Creating prototypes and models is a core activity of the design process. Using prototypes to explore variations and test your design help you learn about what makes your product great — and what needs refinement.
Join us for an engaging hands-on session to design a prototype! At Cantina, we use prototyping methodology to validate ideas with users, and create a feedback loop where you can keep learning.

In this workshop, you’ll learn new tools, techniques, and even design your own low fidelity prototype with a team guided by our staff. This session will cover:

• A brief lesson on prototyping.
• Quick ideation exercise to get the juices flowing.
• Design and build a prototype to test a solution to a real world problem.
• Show & tell the prototype’s value to the world.

This session is relevant to not just designers but makers of all kinds, social entrepreneurs, and people who are curious about learning different ways of working.

For Sonus, a company celebrating its twentieth birthday this year, its answer came in the form of securing Unified Communications (UC).
Unified Communications (UC), often the forgotten application among CISOs, are more vulnerable and open to attacks than most organizations realize. UC isn’t just the voice call anymore. It’s video, file sharing, messaging and more. And now that it has moved over the Internet, it provides a much richer set of capabilities and is inherently more vulnerable to being exploited. But UC isn’t the only application your business should focus on. With Denial of Service and Cloud platform API-based attacks flooding the news cycle, companies must have a comprehensive security strategy that spans all applications and elements of their networks.
During this engaging session, Sonus’ Mykola Konrad will explain how Sonus has shifted from a “has been” telco to a “NewCo” security-focused company. From Points, North
Heading southbound on Interstate 93 Boston, take Exit 23 “Purchase Street/South Station”. At the top of the ramp, take a left onto Seaport Boulevard and proceed over the Moakley Bridge, Seaport Boulevard. Seaport Boulevard becomes Northern Avenue. fama PR will be approximately 3/4 mile ahead on the left.
 
From Logan Airport
Follow the signs towards I-90 West – Ted Williams Tunnel/Worcester. Take the Ted Williams Tunnel/I-90 West to Exit 25 “South Boston”. At the top of the ramp proceed straight onto B Street. At the end of B Street, take a right onto Seaport Boulevard. Seaport Boulevard becomes Northern Avenue. fama PR will be approximately 1/4 mile ahead on the left.
 
From the Mass Pike
Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike /Interstate 90 East to Exit 25 “South Boston”. At the top of the ramp, bear left towards “Seaport Boulevard” and at the first set of lights proceed straight onto East Service Road. At the next set of lights, take a right onto Seaport Boulevard.
